What we can test

A test for every point in your home

Each one covers the parameters its regulation requires. Not sure which you need? Pick the one for the point you are worried about and we will confirm it before we come.

Tap water

The water you drink and cook with. Microbiology, free chlorine, pH, conductivity and turbidity.

Which parameters are tested

Microbiology (E. coli, coliform bacteria, colony count at 22 °C) plus free residual chlorine, pH, conductivity and turbidity. Indicator parameters under Spanish Royal Decree 3/2023.

Storage tank

Stored water: the first place contamination shows up when maintenance slips.

Which parameters are tested

Microbiology (E. coli, coliforms, colony count at 22 °C) plus free residual chlorine, pH, conductivity and turbidity. Worth doing after a clean or whenever the water looks or tastes off.

Which parameters are tested

Microbiology: E. coli, intestinal enterococci, Clostridium perfringens (including spores), coliform bacteria and colony count at 22 °C. Physico-chemical: odour, taste, colour, turbidity, pH, conductivity, oxidisability. Inorganic: ammonium, nitrates, nitrites, chlorides, sulphates, sodium, hardness. New-build home

The test town halls ask for when granting a first occupancy licence or habitation certificate.

Which parameters are tested

The parameters your town hall requires (usually full microbiology, heavy metals — lead, copper, nickel — and the basic physico-chemical set of Royal Decree 3/2023). We confirm the parameters against your paperwork before charging you.

Prices include VAT and home collection is included in Estepona and Manilva; Marbella and Sotogrande add €40. The turnaround shown belongs to each test and runs from collection day: Legionella, for one, needs the culture to grow and there is no way to rush it. We confirm your delivery date when we fix the appointment.

How it works

Four steps, and nothing else to do

From the moment you book to the moment the report lands, this is everything that happens.

STEP 1

Book and pay online

Choose the test, your town and the day. Secure payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Bizum.

STEP 2

We confirm the appointment

We write within 24 hours to agree the time slot that works best for you.

STEP 3

We collect the sample

No containers, nothing to prepare: the technician arrives with the sterile bottle and all the kit, and takes the sample to the protocol the standard requires. You just open the door.

STEP 4

You get the report

A PDF by email with every parameter, its legal limit and what it means. If something fails, we tell you what to do about it.

Why the report holds up

The sample is taken by someone trained to take it

A result is only as good as the sampling behind it. That is why a technician comes to your home: the container each method calls for, the right tap, the protocol in the standard. No kits spending days in a courier van, no jam jars from the kitchen.

  • No containers needed. We bring it all: the sterile bottle each method specifies, cool boxes and field kit. A jar from the kitchen invalidates the result before we even start.
  • Standardised sampling. Flushing beforehand where required, and chain of custody from your home to the laboratory.
  • Methods set by regulation. Royal Decree 3/2023 for drinking water, 742/2013 for swimming pools and 487/2022 for Legionella.
  • ISO 9001 quality management system. Documented procedures and equipment calibrated on schedule. This is a management certification, not a testing accreditation.
  • Signed report. Every result is set against its limit value and signed by the laboratory’s technical manager.
What you get

A report you can read without a chemistry degree

Not a bare table of figures. Every parameter comes with its result, the limit the law sets and a line saying whether it passes.

  • Pass or fail, no hedging. A plain verdict at the top of the page.
  • What to do if something fails. Specific recommendations, not boilerplate.
  • Fit to hand in. To your community or your administrator. If your paperwork is municipal and calls for an accredited laboratory, we tell you before we charge you.
  • And if a result fails. We call to talk it through, and the follow-up sample is charged at a reduced rate.

Common questions

What people ask us before booking

Do I need to be at home?

Yes, someone has to open the door. The sampling takes five to ten minutes and there is nothing to prepare: the technician brings the kit and flushes the tap if the method requires it.

How long does the report take?

Tap, storage tank and pool: two to three working days from collection. Drinking water: five to seven. Legionella needs ten to twelve, because that is how long the culture takes to grow.

What if a result fails?

We tell you plainly and say what to do about it: anything from cleaning and disinfecting the tank to resampling at another point to track down where it comes from.

Can I hand it in to the town hall or my community?

It is a laboratory report with the parameters, the methods and the legal limits that apply, signed by the technical manager. For municipal paperwork, check first whether your town hall requires an accredited laboratory — ask us and we will tell you.

Can I pay later?

The booking is confirmed by paying online, which is how we hold the day for you. Nothing is charged until you confirm on the payment screen.

A new house, a tank left standing, a small child

Any of the three is reason enough. Booking takes two minutes and we confirm the appointment within 24 hours.
